This flag belonged to my son’s great-great-grandfather. It was old and had only forty-eight stars. Sadly it disappeared while in storage when we were stationed in Panama. A very sad lesson learned. Never store an American flag. Fly it proudly.
Not too long ago American kids were inspired by their flag.
Some still are.
And wasn’t it just four and a half years ago when everywhere the flag was flying high?

How quickly some forget.
It’s take an American flag to work day. Hat tip: Michelle Malkin
