There is a cat that prowls around the neighborhood and often comes into our yard. He likes to sit on the front porch and taunt Captain and Sabby who are not allowed to go outside. We think he is probably the culprit who attacked Captain the night this past January when Captain got out of the house but we don’t really know. He likes to sun in our yard and taunt the cats but he is well-fed and we are pretty sure he has a home.
One day I saw Captain’s clone in the yard and thought it was Captain. I chased after him but he ran away. I went inside to get some help and saw Captain asleep on the sofa and realized he had a look-alike.
Captain watches his clone wistfully, wishing he could tramp around the yard too but it’s just not going to happen.
