Yesterday was graduation at Annapolis. Vice President Cheney delivered the commencement address. Congratulations to all the Naval Academy graduates!

Thanks for sharing this proud moment with us. God bless all the young men and women who graduated that day and dedicated themselves to defending our nation.
I was fortunate enough to hear Vice President Cheney's speech to the graduates of the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2001 (my daughter - and her now-husband - were graduating). His speech then was stirring and inspiring. And he greeted each newly commissioned officer with warmth.
I'm sure, now that our nation is at war, his feelings were even more heartfelt. We are truly lucky to have so many brave young men and women stand up and serve.
