Apparently things need to improve in Iraq according to the top generals testifying before the Senate Armed Services Committee today.

I have a proposal……..

It would be a breath of fresh air for the troops who are placing their lives on the line in Iraq and Afghanistan for all the leading Democrats in our country to throw their unreserved support behind the war in Iraq. (and Afghanistan)

If the two major political parties in our country displayed a solid front to the world in its support of the war, the strength of that stand would be inspiring and a fearful event for our enemies.

The media would have nothing to report and it would be more difficult for them to slant the news towards their own biases…..although, I won’t hold my breath waiting for that day.

Neither will I delude myself that Hillary Clinton and her fellow Democrats will suddenly find their patriotic souls and finally do something that doesn’t improve their own political status.

I’m betting many of us can guess the answer to that question.
