Maternal Love seems to be Lacking in the Mideast
Muslims/Islamic Fascists/Asians/Jihadists/ and Individuals who want to kill Americans (and others) have such limited imaginations it seems when naming their children.
Since the Palestinians and Lebanese seem content to be raising their little tots to be martyrs for Islamic Jihad so they can kill as many Americans/Brits/Aussies/Spanish/Westerners and others that they can………
It might be wise to simply name their boys I.E.D. for short. Or Little Bomb……..
They can name their daughters Hair Gel, or Baby Formula.
Ya never know….. they might want to go really radical and name their boys Junior Samples. (just threw that one in)
Palestinians being named after Hezbollah
GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip - Nahed Ghurani worried that naming his new son Hezbollah might cause the boy problems when he grows up. But young Hezbollah Ghurani won’t be the only Palestinian in this predicament.
In a spasm of celebration for Hezbollah’s monthlong battle against Israel, many parents in Gaza City have named their children after the Islamic militant group and its leader, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah.
In Gaza City’s Shifa Hospital, six Palestinian women have named their babies Hassan, Nasrallah, or Hassan Nasrallah, according to maternity records from when fighting began July 12 to when a cease-fire took effect Monday.
About half a dozen more named their babies Hezbollah, Beirut, or Promise — after the name of the military campaign Hezbollah staged against Israel, “The True Promise,” records showed.
In Gaza, as in many parts of the Arab and Muslim world, Nasrallah has seen his popularity rise dramatically by holding his own against the region’s most powerful army.
Ghurani, the new father and a wealthy Palestinian fruit importer, said his wife gave birth before hostilities began, but they didn’t name their child until the fighting was at full pitch.
“My wife wanted to call the baby Nasrallah, but I wanted Hezbollah — to commemorate the entire resistance,” he said smiling.
“My friends said with this name he won’t be able to work, or travel abroad. I have business in Israel as well — but you know, there is a nationalist spirit in me,” he said.
Poor kids.
The following photo is a kind of “recess” for Lebanese children.
Displaced Lebanese children enact a scene depicting Israeli soldiers standing next to an injured Lebanese child during a recreation day organized by volunteers at a school, turned shelter, in the southern Lebanese port city of Sidon.
What was it that General Pace said about “loving their children as much as they hate their enemies?”
They’ll be back. They already are. And guess who will be the greatest beneficiary of Hizballah’s victory?
Will the Western Media keep buying the propaganda?

The following is the text of U.N. Resolution 1701. It's important that people really know how it was worded......

It's important to distinguish between the Christian Lebanese and the radical fascist Muslims. Once upon a time, Lebanon and its people were beautiful and peaceful and lovely and gentle. Then came Syria and Hezbollah.

Family Values In Lebanon...
Laura Lee at the Wide Awake Cafe has done some excellent reporting on the family values of the Lebanese. The photography substantiates her commentary lest you think she exaggerates.
Any question that Hezbollah is winning the spin war? Ask all the mothe...

Excellent post, Laura Lee! I don’t know if you’ve been reading the series on Jill Carroll, but one of the things in the first or second part was a five year old boy who said he is a Jihadi. Yesterday’s installment was the story of a mother who wanted to be a suicide bomber and her husband was proud, but she was four months’ pregnant and Islam forbids suicide at that stage of pregnancy. I imagine the baby has now been born and is probably motherless if she got her wish.
She also talked of the women cooking large meals all day and feeding the men and then the plates with chewed chicken bones and left over rice were sent back and that’s what the women ate. The garbage left over from the men.
There are no family values in Iraq and I imagine in any of the Islamic states. A man can go out and shoot at someone and possibly live to do it another day but the only way for a woman to be a martyr is to blow herself up.
This is all so evil and yet I don’t know how you go about changing the mindset of these people.

There are examples of people of the West having positive impacts on third world cultures. One example that I was fortunate to witness and have interaction with are The Kuna Indians of the San Blas Archipelago, on the Atlantic side of the Republic of Panama. During the eighteen hundreds when British and American missionaries first discovered the tribe the Kunas had no custom of wearing clothing. In other words, they didn't wear any clothing. The missionaries taught the women how to sew and the matriarchal society discovered they were very talented at it and began to create Molas. I collected Molas while we were living in Panama and got to know the Kuna women who set up shop near the Panama Canal Commission Building pretty well. They were fine business women.

Gayle, you are right about distinguishing between the Christian Lebanese and Hezbollah. I read that at one time Lebanon was 60% Christian.
Thanks, Jeanette for the link. It's really horrible how Muslim women are treated.
