Bright and Lively Michelle and Mary Katharine
This fun video featuring Michelle Malkin and Mary Katharine Ham featured the young women at the kitchen table having coffee. Martha Stewart would have approved of the niceties.
Michelle and Mary Katharine vented about clueless Rosie O’Donnell, replacement for Meredith Vierra on The View, who, on the day after the fifth anniversary of September 11th, had the gall to compare “radical Christians” to Islamic terrorists.
Because, you know, these crazed Christian fundamentalists run around the world with boxcutters and hatchets, threatening to cut off the heads of people uninterested in salvation.
Michelle and Mary Katharine were engaging, and funny as they (acting like perfect ladies) easily tore Rosie’s loony ideas apart.
The Rosie O’Donnells of the world are not serious thinkers. Rosie was funny long ago but in a kind of September 10th kind of way.

Nice ambiance too. I love the days when I can sit outside with my pal Pam and schmooze with other people's dogs who are also enjoying a lovely day. I find people who bring their dogs to Starbucks have VERY NICE dogs!

I agree. I discovered Starbucks back in 1995 when we lived in Fairfax, VA. But we moved so much after that Starbucks was no where to be found near many of the military posts where we were stationed so when I got to go to Starbucks it was a definite treat.
Then last year our city got a Starbucks! Our daughter was spending a year at home to work before lawschool. She got a job at Starbucks and loved it. They have good healthcare for employees who work at least twenty hours a week. She worked many more hours than that and was able to get medical care on the rare occasions when she needed it. Also dental too. The company has really good policies when it comes to their employees and their customers. Now my daughter is at lawschool I go into Starbucks and all the employees who are now her friends tell me to tell her hi. Some have already visited her.

Yeah, how many companies do you know who apply benefits to 20-hour employees? What exactly is it that some people loathe so much about them???

They are successful. Class envy is still alive and well!

Radical Christians may not be "run[ing] around the world with boxcutters and hatchets, threatening to cut off the heads of people uninterested in salvation" but the mindset is very similar. I can understand though, why people who insist on taking everything literally would miss the point.
