Clinton Crack-up on Fox News Channel
Former president Bill Clinton is irked after a question by Chris Wallace on why he hadn’t “put bin Laden and al-Qaeda out of business.” “At least I tried,” Clinton went on to say. “That’s the difference [between] me and some.”

Now I understand why Chris Wallace pointedly criticized the ABC Mini-series, The Path to 911 on Fox and Friends one morning before the mini-series aired. Wallace knew his anti-ABC comments would get the attention of the Clinton people.
In granting Chris Wallace of the Fox News Channel an interview, Clinton thought he was going to get the typical swooning, velvet gloved treatment he always gets from the Matt Lauers and Meredith Vieras of the antique media world.
That’s not the treatment Clinton received from Chris Wallace. Wallace actually asked hard and probing questions. Bubba even accused the mild mannered Mr. Wallace of smirking at him but Wallace kept his cool. Clinton couldn’t. He errupted angrily, his eyes bulging and his face turning red while he pointed that bony finger of old at Wallace.
So now the world has seen the famous, nasty, Clinton temper. Clinton was unable to keep under wraps what he didn’t want the world to know…. During his eight years in office Clinton was not interested in protecting our country against the attacks of Osama bin Laden. It was just too risky.
What can Clinton do to Chris Wallace and the Fox News Channel now?
Former president Bill Clinton angrily defended his administration’s counterterrorism record during a Fox News interview to be aired today, while accusing “President Bush’s neocons” and other Republicans of ignoring Osama bin Laden until the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
Clinton had planned to discuss his climate change initiative during his appearance on “Fox News Sunday,” but he turned combative after host Chris Wallace asked why he hadn’t “put bin Laden and al-Qaeda out of business.” Clinton shot back that “all the conservative Republicans” who now criticize him for inattention to bin Laden used to criticize him for over-attention to bin Laden.
The transcript is already up at NewsBusters. It’s quite a read.
Hot Air has lots more……..

I, for one, was happy to see President Bill explode. His anger should be energizing for us Democrats tired of lackluster party leaders. Thanks, for calling out Fox.

I saw Clinton get tough. He did not explode. He did not lose control. But he expressed his outrage. And I, for one, am glad.

One of the requirements for leadership is an even temper. In fact, there's an old salesmen's adage that: The first one to lose his temper - loses.
President William Jefferson Clinton made a complete ass of himself on Fox. Anyone who considers legitimate questioning to be a personal attack is an idiot!
Everything George W. Bush is, was or has ever done has been examined under a microscope and his every action and utterance is subjected to rigorous (and almost universally tainted) interpretation.
Why on EARTH would any other President be exempt from this kind of examination? Believe it or not folks, Chris Wallace's questions were based on historical FACTS - real things that really happened during the time William Jefferson Clinton was the 42nd President of the United States and, based on his OATH OF OFFICE, he is required to answer for his actions or lack thereof.
How juvenile to believe that he is somehow immune from normal scrutiny!
