Captain has an eye for beauty and prefers to be around it. If a room in the house is cluttered, Captain finds one that is neater. In this photo from our Germany days Captain is inspecting the table top.
(Cappy’s not feeling well lately and I’m concerned. He’s going to visit the vet as soon as I can get him there.)

We'll post links to sites that have Friday (plus or minus a few days) photos of their chosen animals (photoshops at our discretion and humans only in supporting roles). Watch the Exception category for rocks, beer, coffee cups, and....? We add boarder...

You seem to think you know a lot about who I am. It's weird finding this blog at random and reading what others think they know about you or what you do. You all are far off from the truth, I can tell you that. I'd like to clear things up for you, please email me at jseiler@jpusa.org It's crazy reading what you all "think" just from one illustration, I also find it odd that you think of me as heartless for drawing Condi the way that I did. I happen to be a conservative of sorts, I voted for Bush. I have nothing personally against Condi, she just happens to have a very interesting face, I feel I captured her quite well, and believe me, I was being nice and flattering as a caricaturist. The truth is, she as well as Hillary are funny looking. But even with that in mind my intentions with my work are not to make people ugly, I push the truth of what I see, I exaggerate the information I see. I find this all very humorous, thank you for a good laugh! Don't take things like my illustration too serious.

Jason needed to get my attention so he made a comment on the most recent post which is okay Gayle. I really appreciate his getting in touch because I was wrong to write about his political opinions based on one piece of art. He is a great guy and so talented it is amazing. Click on his name and it will take you to his website. His abilities and accomplishments are amazing.
Cappy is fine but I got some bad news about Sabby which is very upsetting. He has a tumor on his thyroid.
