Our twelve year old cat, Sebastian (we call him Sabby) was diagnosed with a thyroid tumor last Friday. His doctor is hesitant to perform surgery to remove the tumor however, because Sabby also has some heart problems which are probably related to the tumor.
Tomorrow we’re taking Sabby to the only center in Arkansas which treats cats with Feline Hyperthyroidism using Radio-Iodine.
Sabby’s doctor graduated from Annapolis but we won’t hold that against him.

Sabby had the treatment yesterday and has to spend a week at the treatment center in isolation. So far, so good. I miss him.
