I received this little change purse from my son for Christmas. He bought it from a Christian Iraqi in Iraq. The little bag has it’s flaws but you can tell it was handmade. I treasure it.
Our noble mission in Iraq hasn’t been perfect but great things are emerging from it. It’s pathetically funny that the Pelosi-Kennedy crowd can even imagine they can stop this great work. Oh, they will continue to harass President Bush these next two years and I predict they will eventually resort to calling our military baby killers just as they did in Vietnam. That is the only similarity to the two wars however. The only good that will come out of this is that (possibly) the Pelosi-Kennedy crowd will finally be exposed as the corrupt politicians they are.
But the media will continue on in their treasonous mission of assisting our enemies by publishing stories like this and ignoring the good news.
There is more discussion on the surge at Blackfive.

The change purse is beautiful! How thoughtful of your sweet son to send that to you!
I couldn't agree with you more on the cause for which our sons fight. And on the Pelosi-Kennedy crowd. And the treason of the MSM.

My nephew sent me a coffee mug from his ship last month and, like you, I treasure it. Me, the queen of "if it doesn't go in the dishwasher I won't use it" - uses this mug and lovingly hand wash it every single time.
The coin purse is gorgeous and you are right to treasure it, both for its own sake and for its provenance.

Let's bring all our troops home safely and quickly. Screw Iraq. God bless America.
