Seven years ago the world changed for me as it did for countless Americans. The attacks on September 11th, 2001 took away all Americans'’ assumptions that we were safe inside our shores. We learned on that day that we have an enemy who is determined to kill us on our own soil.

They despise our freedom.

They are still at it today.

There have been many unsuccessful attacks since 2001 but with the steadfast and tenacious leadership of President Bush and more watchfulness on the part of average Americans (even teenagers) and our national security agencies we have thwarted every attack.

President Bush deserves the credit for his persistance in the past seven years in keeping the safety and security of Americans his top priority. He has succeeded. Sadly though, President Bush has not had cooperation from the Democrats. In almost every aspect of our War on Terror the Democrats, with the help of the media, have complained, put up roadblocks and in many ways sided with our enemies.

If we don'’t remember this day with determination as well as tears it will happen again.

Never forget.

Never.

Remember those who have given their all to protect and defend us.

Pray for comfort for all of the families who lost someone on that day and on the days that followed.

Just never forget.

If you can handle it, here is my post of Kevin Cosgrove’’s last call.
