I want snow. Lots of snow.

I am wishing for the kind of snow that isn’t too wet, packs well and will make grand snowmen. That kind of snow will also make strategically placed snowballs an advantage for a determined young boy or girl well armed with gloves, hats, scarves and coats and ready for a snowball fight. I am dreaming of the soft and determined kind of snow that outsmarts the weatherman and keeps falling all night and all day, calling off school and work, and keeping moms and dads home with the kids.

It’s time for a new generation of children to experience making snow angels. Building snow forts. Getting cold enough from playing outside in that beautiful white stuff that a nice warm mug of hot chocolate in the cold blue hands will be the best part of the day.

The weather man is calling for thunder storms tonight and colder temperatures tomorrow and maybe, just maybe, a little snow tomorrow. We can always dream…. Or create a cyber snowman.
