Some days are like that.
Wonder if it’s like that with Democrats? Does Obama feel a deep and sinking dread when he hears Nancy Pelosi’s name?
Is that why he seems so gloomy?
Does the President Elect believe Harry Reid’s claim that he is his own man and won’t be Obama’s yes man?
And while we are on the subject of the little undertaker of the senate, how many days will it take before Harry Reid tears down that wall and allows the deserving Mr. Burris to take his seat?

Hug your spouse AND talk to him. You have already accomplished more today than you know! Your reference to the massively amoral Harry Reid as "the little undertaker of the senate" has MADE my day!
Organization is highly overrated anyway!

Thanks Gayle. I did that watercolor back in the days when Bob was active duty and I was practicing calligraphy and it was a pretty bad try so I discarded it but was going through some old boxes during our Christmas vacation and found it and thought it might be good fodder for the blog anyway. I am very disorganized though. If I were more organized I might not get so easily distracted which is also a flaw.

From someone who is planning to thoroughly clean her living room and dining room this evening and tomorrow a.m., I'm with you girlfriend.
The things that distract me are so delicious, however. The hilarious (laugh out loud frequently) books of Janet Evanovich. The outrageous antics of Sam the Wonder Cat who, despite his very own open 24/7 kitty door, knocks on the sliding glass doors when he wants to come into the house - and I go open the door (being a well trained companion-human).
It has occurred to me of late that my life, with all its stresses, is actually filled with joy. And since part of that joy stems from reading your wonderful posts, thank you.

Thanks, Gayle. Looking at that watercolor brought back memories. I am so thankful for cordless phones. I can't tell you how many times I wrapped myself in the cord of the phone as I tried to multi-task in the kitchen. That scene really happened.
